School Holidays Aho!
Ah yes, it feels good to go to bed every night knowing that in the morning, I will not be waking up at the crack of dawn to ensure my travel to school. Oh no, instead it shall be, wake up, realise there is no school, smile happily and roll over for a couple more hours of napping. In winter, this is the best time to do it. Its nice and cold outside so your bed is deliciously warm and welcoming. Of course, this is not the case for everyone. I think Jordan has well learnt by now that when I wake up in the mornings on a winter day, I shall stretch out and there is no room for him. Off to the other side of the house where is rightful bed is, he goes - leaving me to stretch and smile smugly and be all snoozy.
I think one of the greatest things in life is being able to sleep in occasionally. I love sleeping, well, more like waking up from a good sleep in the morning and then just lying there happily. It is the greatest feeling in the world knowing that you just had a great sleep and are able to stretch out and revel in this fact. Such a great feeling of security. At least for me. =p
And so, for all those that are currently on holidays - enjoy every morning in bed!

And Filed Under: Hermit Crabs,
I rarely mention my little hermit crab pets on here, but I think its about time I started. So, I’ve added a new category to my weblog to dedicate all my hermit crab capers to the name. The first one, shall be about their new home. I was feeling quite generous the other day and felt the need to spruce up their home a little bit so I went to the nearest pet store (which also happens to be absolutely useless, and bought them some cute little ornaments for their home.
The items in the tank that are new are;
- The large tree - $18.95AUD
- The coconut hut - $11.95AUD
- The new shells adding up to $10.95AUD
- 2 x New Hermit Crabs Adding Up to $13.90AUD
- Grand Total of $56.65AUD
So far, they are all buzzing around checking out the new surroundings and getting acquainted with each other. I have decided to name the two new additions Hermetta (Hermie for short), which is a girl, and Hank for the other since that was the first word that came to mind when I saw him.
